Hispanic Workforce Growing

http://www.jsonline.com/business/119034319.html I found this article interesting. I am not sure I agree to this article so much. Why do we need to do so much for the hispanics? Why don't we focus on people in general? I have a hard time with the minority issues being over stressed when most of us no matter what our race have similar opportunities depending on the choices we make. What do you all think?

  1. Lynn I agree with you there are needs for all walks of life to have help and programs to generate employment. The Hispanic workforce is the most visiable in some parts of the country and when they are not working it appears as there is a bigger need to support the people in the situation. The economic conditions of recent years have placed many people in a tough world of looking for employment. I believe all people should be treated equal when the opportunties for jobs from a government plan to boost work is implemented.

  2. I also agree that efforts should be made on behalf of all people. some of the emphasis on hispanics and blacks might be due to discrimination. It doesnt sy anything about whether theses people are legal or not so I assume they are legal. In that case we might need to do a little more for them because of dicrmination.
